Have you heard of Auburn, Massachusetts? It’s about 45 miles outside of Boston and was the home to Robert Goddard, the father of modern rocketry, who launched the first liquid-fueled rocket from a hill in town. Auburn’s rich history in innovation didn’t stop there. It’s also home to the Kadant Solutions Research and Development Center which serves numerous process industries including pulp and paper, tissue, food and beverage, metals, and carbon fiber.
