Kadant South America, formally known as CBTI, was acquired by Kadant in April 2013 and merged with Kadant Johnson Latin America which was founded in 2001 in São Paulo, Brazil. Our company, based in Valinhos near the industrial city of Campinas in Brazil, provides services and applications expertise along with the design and manufacturing of products that play an essential role in improving process efficiency, optimizing energy use, and maximizing productivity in resource-intensive sectors.

Fluid handling products and systems that transfer fluid, power, and data between fixed piping and rotating components
Roll doctoring and scraping products that clean roll surfaces
Cleaning and filtration systems that clean fabrics and filter and recycle process water
Fiber processing systems for recovering recycled fibers and processing virgin fibers

The doctoring, cleaning, and filtration product line offered to the South American market includes doctor blades, doctor blade holders, doctoring systems, cleaning showers, and water filters for pulp and paper industry, as well as roll cleaning systems for other industrial processes, such as carbon fiber, food and beverage, and steel.

We focus on collaboration, working closely with customers to deliver innovated and reliable solutions to process industries.

Sales and services of Kadant South America covers Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Paraguay and are supported by reps located in Argentina and Chile.
